| 4. Written by DHam261492 on May 14, 2012 from inman, south carolina, US GIVE THIS LETTER TO YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE ALONG WITH THE ENVELOPE TO REPORT MAIL FRAUD!! I got the same letter in upstate SC dated May 7, 2012 from VP Grace Pell. Too funny! I found it rather humorous. for several reasons 1. The last paragraph says "We have attempted contacting you several times without success. This is our last attempt." I work from home (the company I work for is international and I work in IT so I have odd hours due to working with folks in other countries) so I'm ALWAYS home. Never received a call about this offer. That was one big red flag for me. 2. Printed on stock paper, ink jet printer, letter head was poorly used. Look at it you can see pixelation due to poor image and NO COLOR! 3. No return address on envelope, letter and hand addressed? COME ON!! A company would use printers to print the addresses on the envelope just like they printed your address on the letter, and would provide a return address. 4. STAMP?!?!?! Companies use metering to take advantage of bulk mailing discounts. But to get this from the post office, you have to have a VALID corporate/non-profit/company (private or partnership) tax id registered with the post office. 5. And capitalizing continental when it is used as an adjective and not a proper noun such as in "Continental Airlines" is another flag! |
